Hello! I'm Adrian, sometimes called Ish, a recent graduate of the Software Development program at Champlain College
with a diverse background, from an avionics technician in the Marine Corps to a Logistics Development Specialist
for a drone manufacturing company.
My move into the world of software began unexpectedly. While enrolled in the Computer Forensics and Digital
Investigations program at Champlain College — a top institution recognized by the NSA for its expertise in the
field — I realized my passion for coding during an "Intro to Python" course. Ever since I have been interested
in the complexities of software development and its countless possibilities.
My ten years as an avionics technician in the Marine Corps equipped me with an understanding of complex systems
and the curiosity to learn about their design processes. This foundation led me to my current role as a Logistics
Development Specialist, where I harness my understanding of aircraft maintenance to develop technical narratives
and lead support equipment analysis projects.
While my background is in avionics and logistics development, I am fully committed in shifting my focus to software
development. With most of my experience in C++, I also have a web programming certificate from Champlain College.
Game development has always fascinated me. The combination of technology and storytelling in games and the opportunity
to create immersive virtual worlds for players is something I'm very passionate about.
My time in the Marine Corps taught me important values like dedication, resilience, and balance. These have been crucial
as I've balanced roles as a husband, father, full-time employee, and student. Managing these responsibilities, I graduated
with a 4.0 GPA at Champlain College, demonstrating my commitment and quick learning abilities.
I am currently seeking enrollment for a Masters in Computer Science.
